Neilos gives abundance, fruitfulness, purity, and immortality to those who drown within it. It is the source of life, upon which the gods sail in their barques in heaven

Associations:
bull, green, black, water, 16, and the following sacrifices:
"1 calf, 2 jars sweet wine, 16 wafers, 16 garlands, 16 cakes, 16 green palm-branches, 16 reeds, oil, honey, milk, and every spice except frankincense.”

Pelusia (20 March)

Go down to your local river and make offerings there; clean up any pollution left by others and contribute time and energy to ecological concerns
