Neilos gives abundance, fruitfulness, purity, and immortality to those who drown within it. It is the source of life, upon which the gods sail in their barques in heaven

The Fruitful, The Most Holy, Father of gods and men

Okeanos, Dionysos, Zeus, Poseidon, Apis, Osiris, Ptah

Associations:
bull, green, black, water, 16, and the following sacrifices:
"1 calf, 2 jars sweet wine, 16 wafers, 16 garlands, 16 cakes, 16 green palm-branches, 16 reeds, oil, honey, milk, and every spice except frankincense.”

Pelusia (20 March)
